Falling, 2020

Resin, figurines, nylon thread, plastic

Falling is a suspended installation reminiscent of a child’s mobile, refracting light as it hangs. Each transparent cube contains a small red figure, simultaneously evoking the innocence of a toy and the surreal quality of a dream. The figures appear to fall slowly, silently drifting downward, contrasting the urgency we associate with falling. This suspended descent creates a tension, capturing a feeling of quiet terror as these characters float in an unsettling limbo between motion and stillness.
